MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS - Have access through an App. Have access through an internet browser, at a minimum Chrome and Safari. Compatible with Android and Apple devices. Students have the ability to take notes/annotate. Ability for students to access e-textbook anonymously. Compatible with Shibboleth. Ability to integrate into Canvas. Access from multiple devices simultaneously from same purchase. Customer Service/Support 24/7. Publisher agreements with Wiley, McGraw-Hill, Pearson, Cengage and Harvard. Licenses for the E-textbooks (I.e. online access while in academic course semester and a downloadable version for student to retain after completion of academic course). ADA compliance for online content (e.g. audio book, larger print, etc.). E-textbooks must be available for online access and download 30 days before the start of class (June 1 for Summer semester, August 1 for Fall semester and December 1 for Spring semester). Must align with campus data security policies (CIO Policies and Guidelines – can be found at it.wisc.edu) including UW FERPA compliance and removal of data when no longer needed. Must have to access multiple publishers. Must be able to recover deleted titles. Must have the ability to back up data. Must have dedicated customer service.
