The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Bubbling Springs Trail: Construction of a new accessible trail will include grade-level aggregate trail, puncheon trail, boardwalks, ramps, an observation deck, asphalt parking, and a kiosk. This new trail will utilize some existing trail alignment and will require some new trail alignments in woodland areas. 2. Middle Run Connector Trail: Construction of a new grade-level aggregate and asphalt trail through a wooded area that will connect the lodge area to parking area. This trail includes the installation of precast concrete “timber” steps, and a custom kiosk. 3. Deer Run Connector Trail: Construction of a new trail that will connect the lodge area to an existing trail below. This will include concrete trail next to the lodge and aggregate trail. A modular block retaining wall will be constructed along the concrete trail. Landscaping in included at the retaining wall.
