Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, tools, materials and supplies (including paper products, trash bags & hand soap) as necessary, to satisfactorily perform the janitorial services as specified below. All work performed under this contract shall be under the direction of the Contract Administrator or Designee. The Contractor shall have the resources to begin work within five (5) business days of the award. Billing shall be monthly for the previous completed month, with any partial month billed at 1/30th per day of the monthly rate bid. A. Weekly Routine (Performed two (2) days every week of the month on Tuesdays and Thursdays): 1. Two (2) Restrooms shall receive the following at each cleaning: a. All mirrors, doorknobs, handles, wall switches, tabletops and chairs, shelving, paper dispensers, soap dispensers, and fixtures shall be cleaned and disinfected. b. Toilets and urinals shall be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, inside and out. c. Traps shall be maintained free from odors at all times. d. All washbasins shall be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. e. Wall surfaces, baseboards, partitions, doors, window frames, and sills shall be cleaned. Splashing about washbasins and urinals shall be removed. f. Heaters, windowsills, blinds, ledges, and stall partitions shall be cleaned and sanitized. g. Floors shall be vacuumed /dust mopped and wet mopped/scrubbed with a neutral floor cleaner. h. Trash cans shall be emptied and cleaned with new trash bags installed. Bags shall be placed in the dumpster on the lot behind salt storage facility. i. Paper towels, hand soap, and toilet paper dispensers shall be kept stocked full at all times with approved supplies. 2. Three (3) office areas and one meeting room shall receive the following at each cleaning: a. All horizontal surfaces (desks, file cabinets, tabletops, chair seats, racks, windowsills, etc.) shall be dusted with a treated dust cloth. Computers shall be dusted with a feather duster and not disturbed. b. All surfaces, doorknobs, handles, wall switches, tabletops and chairs shall be cleaned and disinfected. c. Trash cans shall be emptied and cleaned with new trash bags installed. Bags shall be placed in the dumpster on the lot behind salt storage facility. d. Floors shall be vacuumed /dust mopped and wet mopped/scrubbed with a neutral floor cleaner. e. All wall surfaces, baseboards, partitions, window frames and sills shall be spot cleaned. f. Doors and windows on entrance doors to be cleaned thoroughly inside and out. g. All ceiling lights to be dust and bug free at all times. (Includes restroom lights) h. All windows shall be kept clean at all times inside and out. Window blinds shall be kept dust free and clean at all times. (Includes restrooms) i. The refrigerator, microwave and coffeepot cart shall be cleaned and straightened.
