a. Site study as needed to determine presence of asbestos and lead paint. b. Remediation of any asbestos or lead paint in accordance with the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry, and applicable state and federal law. c. Termination of all utilities in accordance with the requirements of the applicable utility provider, including electricity, water, sewer and natural gas. d. Application for demolition permit from Hanover Building Inspections. e. Demolition of a 2-story hotel building, approximately 13,500 square feet per floor, designated as “Building A”. f. Demolition of all site lights. g. Demolition of 1-story restaurant/banquet hall building, approximately 13,600 square feet. h. Demolition of all temporary and permanent fencing. i. Demolition of swimming pool and pool, including necessary backfill. j. Removal and disposal of all materials resulting from demolition. k. Removal of all temporary and permanent fencing. l. Fine grading of former pool area, including any necessary backfill. m. Soil stabilization, including seed and straw wherever soil is disturbed. n. Additional Notes: • The Contractor shall provide weekly progress updates to Hanover County Building Inspections for the duration of the work. • Land disturbance shall not exceed 2,500 sf in total, including removal of the pool and associated deck.
