The selected contractor will be responsible for performing the following tasks, either independently or in collaboration with internal teams: 1. CIS Assessment a. Identify all CIS Controls and Safeguards in and how the District compares. This will serve as the baseline of our Cybersecurity Maturity. b. Identify the weaknesses and gaps in attaining a complete IG1, IG2, and IG3 Maturity levels. This will include the required internal and external resources needed along with costs for all tools and resources needed to achieve the different IG Maturity levels. 2. Attain IG1 Maturity level a. Identify all Controls and Safeguards to achieve an IG1 Maturity level b. Provide a remediation strategy for closing the current state to IG1 weaknesses and gaps identified in the CIS assessment.
