To provide a comprehensive and consistent means of developing and managing the RSSPs of disabled Temporary Assistance clients. The Respondent will develop an RSSP with and for those individuals that MCDSS identifies as appropriate candidates. The Respondent will monitor client progress over time and adjust plans as necessary. The Respondent will regularly report on progress, compliance and outcomes. The Respondent and MCDSS will jointly hold clients accountable for compliance with the RSSP. Social Services regulations 18NYCRR 385.2(e) allow the local Social Services District to determine whether exempt individuals may need to take steps to improve their ability to work. This may include participation in reasonable medical care, and/or rehabilitation programs such as physical therapy and mental health counseling. Social Services regulations 18 NYCRR 351.2(e) and 351.21(a) allow the Social Services District to call in Temporary Assistance applicants and recipients as a condition of case eligibility to assess eligibility related issues including a review of medical status.
