MDAR seeks input, feedback, and information on the following (stories are subject to change). a. 2025 Year of Youth in Agriculture - In 2025, Massachusetts celebrated the "Year of Youth in Agriculture" to elevate young voices and develop future leaders through events and partnerships. This initiative highlights contributions from youth in farming, including FFA and 4-H.MDAR, led by Commissioner Ashley Randle, emphasizes youth engagement. Events include farm visits as well as participation at such activities as Agriculture Day at the State House. MDAR also fosters future leaders through the Massachusetts Agriculture Youth Council, consisting of 15 high school students learning about agricultural issues and legislation.
