The project includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: - Site Preparation: - Inspect and assess the current condition of the tennis courts. - Prepare the site for resurfacing - Resurfacing: - Remove old surface materials - Subbase should be 6" compacted gravel. If subbase is not acceptable, the subbase area shall be excavated to the depth of 6" and new ABC subbase shall be installed and compacted. After subbase is determined to be suitable and graded, compacted a 3" layer of hot applied type 9.5 b asphalt will be applied. Two coats of a resurfacer shall be applied to the asphalt surface followed by two coats of the court color surface. - Apply a new, durable, and weather-resistant surface suitable for pickleball. - Ensure proper drainage and surface texture for optimal performance. - Court Layout: - Convert the layout from two tennis courts to four pickleball courts, adhering to official size specifications (20’ x 44’ for each court). - Mark court lines using appropriate materials that are visible and durable. - Fencing): -New 6' high fence shall be installed around each of the courts with one gate per court area for a total of four gates - Accessories Installation: - Install appropriate net systems for pickleball.
