2.1 The Offeror must provide Mobile Crisis Response and/or Community Stabilization Services for non-hospitalized individuals of all ages who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The service population includes individuals living within the service areas of the nine Community Services Boards in the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) Region 1. The Offeror must respond to all Region 1 Hub dispatch contacts (electronic, telecommunication, messages, etc.) promptly and ensure that Mobile Crisis Teams are equipped to respond to all dispatches within one (1) hour of dispatch on average. 2.2 Providers are sought only for geographic areas where there is currently insufficient service capacity. Proposals will be considered for parts of the region identified as underserved or lacking adequate provider coverage. Please note that certain areas have been determined to have sufficient or surplus capacity and therefore no additional provider services are currently needed in those areas. Proposals targeting these areas may not be considered for funding. Based on current service data and capacity assessments, the following geographic areas have been identified as needing additional provider capacity. Proposals focusing on these areas are strongly encouraged and will be prioritized for review.
