The University of Kentucky Police Department is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified offerorss to supply the University with customized replacement duty uniforms for the University of Kentucky Police Department. The expectations of the University for these Uniforms are that they must be a durable, readily available, and consistent in color and style throughout the product lifespan. They should wear well and maintain their shape and color for the duration of their use. The University should be able to blend new uniforms with the uniforms from the initial order from time to time without an obvious difference between the new uniforms and the existing ones. These uniforms will be used to outfit all new police officers and for all uniform replacements for sworn personnel. The department currently maintains over 50 officers, successful contractor will be required to replace damaged or worn uniforms as needed.
