A. The range shall be available to DAPO for monthly, quarterly, and evening use, as needed. The DAPO Regional Training Coordinator and the Contractor’s Chief Range Master shall mutually agree upon the actual dates and times for use of the range. B. The Contractor’s range will accommodate a minimum of one (1) and maximum of ten (10) shooters at any one time per shooting/classroom session. The facility will include telephone access for emergencies, classrooms and restroom access. Contractor will make a good faith effort to accommodate shooters on a first-come, first-serve basis at any one time; however, said accommodation will be as scheduled, in advance. C. The firing range must allow for shooting up to distances of three (3) yards to fifteen (15) yards for handgun qualifications and distances of fifty (50) yards to one hundred (100) yards for rifle qualifications. D. The Contractor shall provide classrooms for DAPO Training/Audit Coordinator/Range Masters to conduct firearm instruction and tactical training. E. The Contractor shall provide storage facilities located within the range compound for DAPO target equipment, (targets, cardboard backers, etc.) at no charge to the State.
