The Contractor shall provide comprehensive lubricating oil and diesel fuel testing services in compliance with ASTM standards. Responsibilities include conducting chemical and wear metal analyses on engine and transmission oil samples taken at specified mileage intervals, and testing diesel fuel samples collected every 4–6 weeks. The Contractor must supply all necessary materials, including sample bottles, mailers, and extraction tools, and ensure sample pickup within 24 hours of notification. The Contractor must also conduct pre-implementation training for maintenance staff, offer on-site technical support, and provide prompt reporting: individual unit reports within 24 hours of lab receipt, and quarterly summary reports detailing trends, classifications (normal, abnormal, critical), and corrective recommendations. Additional petroleum engineering support—such as lubricant recommendations and on-site inspections—will be provided up to 40 hours annually.
