A. Weekly maintenance of water system, which includes the following: Supplying chlorine or peroxide, loading solution crock with chemical at appropriate ratio, adjusting and verifying the chemical feed pump rate as needed to maintain proper residuals per the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH). Maintain, and blow down contact tanks on a weekly basis. Maintain, and service carbon tank as needed. B. Weekly maintenance of other chemical feed systems for managing pH, supplying and loading chemical, adjusting and verifying the chemical feed pump rate as needed to maintain proper residuals per NYSDOH. C. Monitor processes and suggest improvements if necessary to maintain compliance with NYSDOH. D. Immediate notification to Plant Superintendent or designee of any process failure or potential for noncompliance with NYSDOH drinking water standards. E. Weekly log showing the date, chemical residual, remarks, and initials of service personnel monitoring the system. Copies are to be submitted to the Plant Superintendent or designee monthly. This is a requirement of payment processing. F. The Contractor is responsible for completing the Water System Operation Report and sending copies to the appropriate agencies.
