Rails. 3.1.2 Bed frame shall comply with IEC 60601-1. 3.1.3 Sleep deck width: ≥ 35 inches. 3.1.4 Bed width: ≥ 40 inches. 3.1.5 Sleep deck length: ≥ 76 inches (Expandable by an additional 12 inches). 3.1.6 Bed length: ≥ 84 inches (Expandable to ≤ 105 inches). 3.1.7 Adjustable bed height measured from floor to bed platform surface: a. Minimum height: ≤ 14.5 inches. b. Maximum height: ≥ 30 inches. 3.1.8 Color: Gray, White or neutral color. 3.1.9 Power: a. Electric: 120 Volts Alternating Current (VAC), 60 Hertz (Hz), ≤ 15 Ampere (A). b. Includes: Battery backup power with integrated bed charger. 3.1.10 Safe working load: ≥ 550 pounds (includes weight of patient, mattress, and medical equipment/accessories attached to the bed). 3.1.11 Staff bed controls. 3.1.12 Patient bed controls shall be within the patient’s reach. 3.1.13 Integrated patient scale. 3.1.14 Maximum back angle to horizontal: ≥ 60 degrees. 3.1.15 Maximum knee angle to horizontal: ≥ 20 degrees. 3.1.16 Maximum Trendelenburg angle to horizontal: ≥ 12 degrees. 3.1.17 Maximum reverse Trendelenburg angle to horizontal: ≥ 12 degrees. 3.1.18 Shall include the following: a. Nurse call interface. b. Bed exit alarm system. c. Motion detection. d. Port that is compatible with Ascom 37 Pin Breakaway Cable (Model # NUBAC37-H) that is connected to Ascom NUBM3–HE module at the other end. e. Upgradeable to wireless for connection to tablets, laptops, and smartphones. 3.1.19 Software or applications (if needed for the tablets, laptops, and smartphones) shall be compatible with iOS, Windows, and Android operating systems. 3.1.20 Caster set: a.
