Bid must be for repair and maintenance of all vehicles shown. The District reserves the right to add or dispose of vehicles to fleet requiring repairs and maintenance. Inventory includes: Full size 54 Passenger School Buses Wheel chair equipped School Buses Mini Vans (Non-Conforming School Vehicles) Inventory Makes: International (IC)-Navistar Blue Bird Ford Dodge. • Daily repair on fleet when problem occurs • Maintain School Bus Maintenance files • Provide a facility for NJDOT INSPECTIONS • Must provide at least one mechanic to be available to work on Pleasantville buses from 6:00am to 5:00pm • Mechanic must be available to help start all buses prior to AM bus route • Mechanic must address all DVCR issues daily and file report appropriately • Successful bidder will provide 4 quarterly Maintenance checks on all buses (Quarterly Reports as required by state of New Jersey) • All third-party billing from outside vendors will be submitted by bidder. • OEM Parts: Where OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts are specified, non-OEM products may be accepted as “or equivalent” products. If an “or equivalent” product is provided as a substitution for an OEM product, the vendor must demonstrate that the product being offered is an “or equivalent” item and must provide a comparison of both items, thus proving their equivalency.
