The proposed improvement consists of constructing a single course bituminous surface treatment Type A-1. This work shall be done in accordance with Check Sheet #LRS9 of the Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions adopted January 1, 2025, at locations designated in this document or as directed by the City. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to sweep the streets both before the seal-coat operation and after the aggregate is placed to remove the loose aggregate. The specified aggregate is CA16 trap rock. The loose aggregate swept will be hauled to the City property on Darst Street or as directed by the City. Necessary adjustments, incidentals and appurtenant items shall be constructed as directed by the City.
