3.1 All Board Ups shall be performed at a flat rate by entry point, with each entry point to be considered separately but added together for the total rate per structure, regardless of size or physical characteristics of the entry point. 3.2 All Board Ups shall be scheduled within 1 business day following notification of the job by the Office of Development Services and performed within 3 business days. 3.3 All Board Ups must have the front door of all structures be secured with plywood and use screw heads, and with any other instructions to be determined by the Office of Development Services. 3.4 All Board Ups must have the rear and sides of all structures be substantially secured with plywood, with 2”x4” attached inside of the structure and with the use of carriage bolts, and with any other instructions to be determined by the Office of Development Services. 3.5 All Board Ups must secure all accessible entryways from the ground or attached platforms or stairways, including any doors, windows, or other openings that are 8’ from the ground or lower. Entry points must be secured regardless of size or physical characteristics of the entry point. 3.6 All Board Ups must secure any entry points underneath the structure, including crawlspaces, basements, or any gaps underneath a structure. 3.7 All Board Ups must spray-paint the attached plywood with a supplied template, and with any other instructions to be determined by the Office of Development Services. 3.8 Emergency Callouts: The Vendor must provide a quote for an emergency callout fee. 3.8.1 The emergency callout fee may only be applied to services rendered outside of regular business hours, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 7pm-7am or on weekends or holidays. 3.8.2 The Emergency callout fee must be billed at a flat rate per job. 3.8.3 Board Ups from emergency callouts must be performed as soon as possible but no less than 48 hours after the call-out was requested. 3.8.4 The cost of the board-up itself shall remain at the same rate as determined by the criteria listed above. 3.9 Upon completion of a Board Up, the Vendor shall promptly notify the Office of Development Services with the complete street address, as well as any other requested information, of any lot on which work has been performed within 5 business days.
