The Scope of Work will include: The construction of a new post security connector connecting Terminal A to Terminal B. This is the final phase to create post-security connectivity between all Logan Airport terminals. Terminal A is the only terminal that is not directly connected post-security to the other terminals. This project will enable the circulation of all screened passengers through the secured area of all terminals at Logan International Airport, improving transfers and connections to and from other domestic and international destinations for all airlines. Specific Scopes of Work include, but not limited to the following: 1. A new Post-Security Connector connecting Terminal A to Terminal B between gates A11 and B1 2. The modifications of the existing public connector between Terminals A and B to become part of the Post-Security Connector 3. A new Upper Level public connector, connecting a portion of the existing public connector to Terminal B 4. New vertical circulation at Terminal B from the Upper Level public connector down to both the Departures and Arrivals Levels 5. Modifications to the Terminal B Gate B1-B3 Holdrooms to integrate the new Post-Security Connector 6. Renovations to existing facilities 7. Creation of a new shadow space 8. The relocation of Gate A11, including the PBB, fuel pit, and striping, with a new fixed walk segment 9. Creation of two new Automatic Exit Lanes at Terminal A 10. Modifications to the existing A3 Checkpoint to accommodate the new Automatic Exit Lanes 11. The project will also include the improvement of the vertical circulation at Terminal A Satellite between level 1 and departure levels. This part of the project is still under conceptual design.
