Below is a breakdown of the complete scope of work for the construction management and inspection services that will be provided by the Consultant. Where the subject is implied, it shall be assumed to refer to the Consultant. Use of the word, “City”, shall refer to the City of Santa Monica. 1. Project Team A. The firm shall provide the necessary personnel, inspection staff, sub-consultants, equipment and transportation to facilitate the performance of the intended construction management and inspection services for the Pier Bridge Replacement Project. The project has Federal funding; it is imperative that all activities conform to federal requirements. B. The City’s expectation is the firm shall assign a Resident Engineer/Structure Representative that is a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California, one Construction Inspector, one Office Engineer, and a part time Scheduler to the Project. One individual may be the Structure Representative and Resident Engineer, or the firm may propose two staff members. A Structure Representative is required. C. The following subconsultant services shall be made part of the team to provide asneeded support as follows: a. Public Outreach b. Survey c. Materials Testing d. Environmental Consultant(s) (Refer to Exhibit C.11. REIR Mitigation Table with Roles and Responsibilities for CM) i. Biologist for nesting bird and bat monitoring ii. Archeology iii. Paleontology iv. Others, as required
