The purpose of this solicitation is to enhance the Department’s ability to increase efficiency in the fulfillment of orders and create a new process flow. As a commitment effort to continuously review and improve upon processes and customer service, the tobacco tax stamp supplier must have the required capabilities to manufacture the tobacco tax stamps as specified in the proposal, have a system interface capable to receive electronic transmission of orders from the Department’s integrated system, process the orders as approved, ship all orders directly to the distributor by the specified carrier information provided, maintain sufficient inventory at a secure facility, and transfer information on that order to DOR’s system via a batch transfer process.
