The successful Firm for the Single Audit engagement will be required to perform the tasks that include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Analyze, test and report on compliance by the State with Federal laws and regulations in accordance with the financial statements. 2. Examine and report on the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards consistent with appropriate auditing standards. 3. Perform tests and report on the State's compliance with Federal laws and regulations pertaining to major and non-major programs and report the results of such tests as appropriate, consistent with the Single Audit Act and the applicable auditing standards. 4. Study, evaluate, and report on the internal accounting and administrative controls used by the State in administering major and non-major Federal financial assistance programs and report the results of such study and evaluation consistent with appropriate auditing standards. 5. Report on prior year findings and follow-up status reports.
