GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Contractor to coordinate with Owner on utility locations. County to install all under slab utilities water, sewer, electric. EARTHWORK Building to be including finished floor elevation. Finished floor of building to be six (6) inches higher than adjacent grade. Contractor to provide necessary grading to achieve desired building elevation. Final grading around building to be smooth with a uniform slope away from the building. Compaction and bearing pressure testing, if needed, to be provided by the Owner. Termite treatment to be provided under slab. CONCRETE (TO BE PROVIDED BY OWNER) All concrete to have a 28 day compressive strength of 3,000 psi. Concrete testing services to be provided by County. Concrete mix design to be submitted for approval. Concrete finish to be smooth inside the building with a broom finish on the door landings. Concrete inside the building to be sealed with a transparent, non-yellowing, water-based coating. All concrete slabs to contain 6 x 6-W10 x W10 welded wire mesh and be a minimum of four (4) inches thick. Slab and footing design to be furnished by Contractor as part of the metal building submittal. Plans to include control joints, reinforcing, etc. and be stamped by a Professional Engineer registered in the State of Georgia. Reinforcing steel to be Grade 60, Fy = 60,000 psi. Expansion joint material between building slab and door landings to be asphalt expansion joint material, W.R. Meadows or equal. Vapor barrier and four (4) inches of #57 stone to be placed under concrete slab. Owner must inspect footings and slab prior to concrete being poured. METAL BUILDING DESIRED SPECIFICATIONS Building dimensions to be sixty (60) feet by thirty-six (36) feet. Eave height measured from finished floor is thirteen (13) feet. Single metal building manufacturer to provide all building components. Metal for metal building and metal roof to be 24 gauge. All metal to have Kynar 500 finish. Color to be selected by Owner from standard colors. Roof slope to be 4:12. Roof to be standing seam metal. Building to include gutters and downspouts with concrete splash blocks. h Contractor to obtain building permit. Plans shall include metal building and slab and footing design and be stamped by a Professional Engineer registered in the State of Georgia. Building design must comply with all applicable State and Local codes. Warranties Materials and Workmanship one (1) year, weather tightness ten (10) years, finishes twenty (20) years. Building shall comply with guidelines and standards issued by the Metal Building Metal panels on front of building to be designed and located to accommodate a future brick veneer. Metal building to include roof and support structure over doors as shown on the plans. DOORS AND DOOR HARDWARE (SPECIFIY IF OWNER MUST PROVIDE) Doors to be furnished by building manufacturer. All doors and door frames to be hollow metal equal to Curries ASSA ABLOY, 607 series, 20 gauge. Doors and frames to have a factory finish. Color to be selected by the Owner.
