The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify and select a qualified partner to establish and operate a for-credit Commercial Driver License (CDL) Program at Central Arizona College’s Signal Peak Campus, with plans for future expansion to additional campuses as needed. The selected provider will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive CDL A training program that includes instruction and testing for both manual and automatic transmissions, aligns with Arizona DMV requirements, and adheres to CAC’s Faculty Standards. The partner must provide all necessary resources including trucks, equipment, instructors, insurance, and vehicle maintenance. Additionally, the program will expose students to a variety of equipment types and ensure daily hands-on driving experience. The ultimate goal of this RFP is to build a high-quality, scalable training program that enhances workforce readiness and supports regional demand for licensed commercial drivers.
