The operation and management of the Borough of Metuchen Municipal Pool Snack Bar Concession. The successful vendor shall be solely responsible for the operation and management of the Borough of Metuchen Municipal Pool Snack Bar (“Snack Bar”), including but not limited to providing all necessary personnel, food, beverages, snacks and supplies necessary to operate and maintain the Snack Bar Facilities. The Snack Bar Facilities consist of the Snack Bar located at the Metuchen Municipal Pool. The Facilities under the proposed agreement shall include one kitchen consisting of approximately 8,000 square feet. The Facilities that the contractor will be permitted to utilize includes the interior space of the snack bar only and does not include exclusive access to the pavilion dining area. The Snack Bar Facilities shall include the hood and fire suppression system, ceiling fans, kitchen cabinetry and sinks. The Snack Bar Facilities also includes a fountain soda machine and an ice machine. The ice-making machine is intended to supply ice for first aid purposes. The Successful Vendor will be permitted to use any excess ice for the snack bar operation. However, the Borough or any of the Borough's employees shall have the right to enter the rental premises at any time without notice to obtain ice required for first aid.
