Neustar Inc., is the sole proprietor and software developer of the GeoPoint GeoDirectory-Detect Fraud-Gold software, which provides a complete Internet Protocol (IP) Intelliegence tool for identifying a claimant's geographic location, network, and contextual data for any IP address, as well as for those claims being filed from proxy IP addresses (including VPN). FIRRE interfaces with this software in real time using web service, application programming interface (API) as well as on premise geo-directory server (in the event on-line service is down). Commerce staff use the data collected by this software to flag suspicious transactions and to conduct reviews and investigations. The GeoPoint software has been embedded into the RECONNECT system for FIRRE, and there are no known authorized resellers or companies who can provide this exact service nor is there an available software that can perform at the same required level for daily operations of FIRRE. The vendor has provided a letter that states it is the only company who offers this database operation in the state of Florida (State). This was later confirmed through market research for GeoPoint GeoDirectory that Neustar, Inc., is the only company that offers this product in the State.
