General: The Belton Police Department is seeking formal bids for the purchase of (12) SIG Sauer M400 PRO rifles. Item Description: Make: Sig Sauer Model: M400 PRO 14.5” SBR Quantity: 12 Mandatory features: a) Caliber 5.56 Nato b) 12 rifles with barrel length of 14.5” c) Safe and Semi fire function only d) Operating system direct impingement gas e) Six position collapsible stock f) Handguard must be free-float M-Lok with quick disconnect sling mount built in or attachment included g) Back up iron sights (flip up or fixed iron sights, both able to be removed) h) Ambidextrous safety selector, magazine release, and charging handle i) (3) 30- round polymer magazines j) Rifle must be new in box and accompanied with all documentation k) Vendor must accept trade of used department firearms (list attached) and apply credit for trade in against final purchase price of SIG rifles.
