The work includes the replacement of the existing septic tank with a new grinder pump system to improve wastewater collection and disposal. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the installation in accordance with applicable codes and standards and the contract documents. The work includes decommissioning and removal of the existing septic tank in compliance with local regulations, excavation of the site as required, and installation of a new grinder pump, wetwell, associated piping, and electrical components. The grinder pump shall be connected to the existing influent plumbing, and new discharge piping shall be installed to convey wastewater to the nearest gravity manhole. The contractor shall perform startup and functional testing to ensure the system operates correctly and complies with all relevant local regulations. All work shall be conducted with minimal disruption to the surrounding area.
