Work in this area shall consist of milling the existing pavement to a depth of 2” and variable on the existing 2% slope in normal crown sections, if the slope is not 2%, the slope will be corrected by a combination of milling and paving, and placing 2” and variable of 12.5- mm, MT, asphalt, as per the attached details. All local roads shall be milled to a depth of 2” and variable and inlayed with 2” and variable of 12.5-mm, MT asphalt. All local roads shall be paved to ROW. If the local road is not currently paved, asphalt pavement shall be placed in two 2” lifts and paid as 12.5-mm, MT asphalt. Any material removed to accommodate the two 2” lifts of asphalt shall either be wasted on the shoulder or excessed under pay item 203-G002. Trench widening will be performed as per the attached table at a depth of 6” and shall be performed after mainline milling but before paving. The permanent signs that are in poor condition shall be replaced as per the attached table and applicable standard drawings.
