Task 1: Project Management, Administration, and Coordination Objective: Provide overall project management strategy • 1.1 Develop Project Work Plan: Create a detailed project schedule with milestones and deliverables, outlining key activities and timelines. • 1.2 Regular Progress Updates: Hold regularly scheduled progress meetings with local project managers, providing updates on deliverables, timelines, and issues. • 1.3 Data Management: Organize and maintain all project-related data, including public comments, technical reports, and working documents. Deliverables as set forth below and outlined above: • A detailed project schedule with milestones, key activities and timelines. • Regular progress meetings with scope of work and schedule updates. • Monthly invoices with progress report. • Organize and maintain all project-related data, including public comments, technical reports, and working documents. Task 2: Data Collection & Existing Conditions Assessment Objective: Gather data and conduct an analysis of the current transportation system. • 2.1 Existing Transportation System Inventory: Collect and analyze data on existing transportation facilities, including roadways, public transit, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, rail and freight networks, airports, inland ports, and other mobility systems, also giving emphasis to those facilities that serve important national and regional transportation functions. • 2.2 Traffic Demand and Patterns: Gather current and historical data on traffic volumes, congestion, and patterns. Review changes in developed areas and identify connections to new infrastructure improvements. • 2.3 Safety Assessment: Identify high-accident corridors and areas with significant safety concerns. • 2.4 Environmental and Land Use Considerations: Assess how current transportation infrastructure interacts with the built and natural environment, including air quality, noise, and land use policies. • 2.5 Demographic and Socioeconomic Trends: Collect and analyze population, employment, and land use data to forecast transportation demand. • 2.6 Existing Plan Inventory: Review existing plans listed in the current LRTP and any other Federal, State, Regional or Local plans or documents established subsequently. Deliverables as set forth below and outlined above: • A report detailing all modes of existing transportation-related inventory and conditions, including infrastructure, traffic patterns, and environmental considerations. • Digital data files Task 3: Demand Forecasting and Future Conditions Objective: Project future transportation demand and identify infrastructure needs. • 3.1 Future Transportation Demand: Develop travel demand forecasts based on demographic, economic, and land use projections. • 3.2 Transportation Deficiencies: Identify gaps in the current system and future needs based on projected demand, safety concerns, and capacity limitations. • 3.3 Multimodal Needs: Evaluate the needs for all modes of transportation, including roads, transit, pedestrian facilities, biking infrastructure, and emerging technologies such as shared mobility and autonomous vehicles. Include BRT possibilities. • 3.4 Environmental Sustainability Considerations: Incorporate sustainability goals into the needs assessment, focusing on reducing emissions, promoting energy efficiency, and improving the resilience of the transportation system.
