Selected qualified individuals and/or firms will be expected to conduct the full investigation, which may include (but is not limited to): • Meeting with the complainant(s). • Identifying type of complaint (sexual harassment, racial discrimination, etc.). • Conducting interviews of the complainant(s), respondent(s), and all witnesses. • Providing an estimated timeline for investigation, including cost estimates. • Communicate with the County on the investigation status, notify of delays, and inform of any impacts to the estimated timeline or budget. • Writing reports of findings. • Providing all written documentation along with report of findings to the County of Sacramento. • Being available to testify and attend any administrative/judicial proceedings related to the investigation, if needed. • Attending meetings to report findings, if needed. • Keeping the strictest confidentiality regarding investigation, reporting, and results. • Maintaining attorney-client privilege.
