The Wake County Public School System’s Special Education Department is seeking a vendor to provide High School Special Education Math students with explicit learning opportunities through a supplemental curriculum to support the mastery of Math IEP goals. The goal of this project is also to provide Special Education High School Case managers/teachers with resources to implement best practices during specially designed math instruction (SDI) for students with special education needs in math, as outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP). This could occur in a small group setting, individually, or in a whole group setting within a special education classroom or a separate special education program, such as a regional program for students with intense needs. Please note: This project is only looking for resources for use with students with disabilities who have an identified Math need based on their IEP goals. It is not a project to identify a core curriculum.
