Furnish all labor, material and equipment for 1.95 miles of Asphaltic Concrete Patching, Milling, & Resurfacing in the City of Covington. 8. All asphalt millings removed shall be delivered to: City of Covington Transfer Station City of Covington LAS Facility 5144 Turner Street 11085 Flat Shoals Road Covington, GA 30014 Covington, Ga 30014 Note: Location may change from CTS to LAS depending on compacity and proximity of the milling. 9. All topping shall be completed using 9.5mm Type II Superpave. 10. Lane Closures a. Single Lane Closures are allowed between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Sunday. b. Double lane closures are not allowed at any time. c. Vehicular access and pedestrian access to adjacent businesses and parking lots shall be provided at all times. d. All lane closures shall be submitted at least three days in advance and approved by the City of Covington’s Transportation Department. 11. The Contractor shall cover milled surfaces within three calendar days of being milled. 12. The Contractor Shall be responsible for bringing all manholes and valves back to finish grade after paving operation is complete. Manholes and valves shall be adjusted according to City of Covington Specifications. (No crowning or inverted manhole lids or valves) 13. Thermoplastic will be used for crosswalks, stop bars, and arrows. Centerlines and edge lines will be painted. 14. Any required roadway shoulder backfills, grading, and/or grassing on roadways without curb and gutter shall be included in the price of the paving. 15. All existing overlay in gutters shall be removed and new pavement will match gutter depth. No asphalt is to be replaced in/over gutters.
