The Contractor will be responsible for performing and/or working with the Alabama Physical Therapy Wellness Committee (the "Committee"') to ensure performance of the following in the development and maintenance of the impaired practitioner program required by Section 34-24-193(j), Code of Alabama (1975): • Contracting with providers of treatment programs; • Receiving and evaluating reports ofsuspected impairment from any source; • Intervening in cases of verified impairment; • Referring impaired physical therapy licensees or compact privilege holders to treatment programs; • Monitoring the treatment and rehabilitation of impaired physical therapy licensees or compact privilege holders; • Providing post-treatment monitoring and support of rehabilitated impaired physical therapy licensees or compact privilege holders; • Assisting the Committee in further developing policies and procedures relating to impaired practitioner program as described in Code of Alabama (1975) 34-24- 191,193(j);
