The State has identified every major piece of electrical distribution equipment, normal and emergency systems, that shall require engineering appraisal, testing, preventative maintenance, maintenance, and repairs or replacements. The Contractor’s work shall be performed in accordance with equipment manufacturer recommendations, applicable codes, rules and regulations, the latest edition of the Maintenance Engineering Handbook, historical equipment data, and/or as directed by the Facility Manager. Each major piece of equipment including its appurtenant equipment shall be serviced periodically over the five-year contract term. Refer to Section 2.3 – Description of Major Components/Parts and Schedule of Services, for detailed information on each electrical distribution system. The order of the equipment to be serviced is subject to change at the Facility Manager’s discretion.
