A. The Virginia Department of Transportation anticipates the need to purchase up to 500 non-tidal stream mitigation credits in the Rappahannock River Basin. The stream credits shall emanate from or service Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) 02080104 and include King George, Caroline, Essex and Lancaster Counties in the banks geographic service area. B. Stream credits offered shall originate from an approved mitigation bank authorized by both the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) and the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). Stream Credits offered shall be in accordance with the Unified Stream Methodology (USM) requirements. The unit price submitted shall be in terms of price per credit expressed as USM Compensation Credits.
