Mattatuck MuseumThe Mattatuck Museum is replacing its primary Air Handling Unit (19,000 CFM installed in 1985). The current existing AHU serves six independent ductwork zones. In its place, (6) stand-alone vertical air handling units with accompanying humidifiers will be installed and each serve one of the existing zone configurations. The HVAC System Upgrade trade contractor will be responsible for providing a temporary climate control system for the museum while the existing AH-1 is taken out of service and replaced with the (6) standalone air handling units. Exhibit B is provided for reference and includes a possible concept for providing temporary climate control through the exhibit spaces on the museum’s ground level.
