The Bay Area UASI region is requesting services to design, conduct, and evaluate an exercise series to increase the Bay Area’s capacity to prevent, respond, and recover from a major emergency or disaster incident that occurs during a large-scale event. The exercise series will focus on assessing the Bay Area’s current capacity compared to the capability targets for core capabilities such as the following: 1. Operational Coordination 2. Operational Communications 3. Public Information and Warning 4. Intelligence and Information Sharing 5. Situational Assessment 6. Public Health, Healthcare, and Emergency Medical Services 7. On-scene Security, Protection, and Law Enforcement 8. Screening, Search, and Detection 9. Access Control & Identity Verification 10. Critical Transportation
