The City is seeking consultant support to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for the Alder-Tausick-Airport Pavement Preservation project to obligate construction funding no later than August 31st , 2026. Beyond the work already noted, the consultant will be relied upon for the following: • Submittal and completion of cultural/environmental documentation per the federal NEPA process. • Right of Way acquisition as required. • Collaborate with City to create and implement a communications plan for public interaction both in advance (virtual open house) and during construction. • Evaluate and document pruning and trimming requirements for vegetation. Provide an Arborist report and Public Outreach. • Design of ADA improvements as required. • Design of Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacon’s (RRFBs) at high traffic locations. • Evaluate and design of signage, striping, and illumination. • Plans and estimate at 30% design, with full PS&E including bid package at 60%, 90%, and a 100% bid ready submittal. • Construction contract submittal register and proposed bid schedule. • Proposed construction schedule. • Assistance during bidding for questions, addenda, review of bids and DBE goals if required, along with recommendation for award. • Other pavement preservation project design work as appropriate.
