A. The Contractor shall employ one (1) full-time, experienced janitorial supervisor who shall be on-site, on duty during normal daily working hours to supervise and oversee the daily janitorial operations in the building. This person must be able to oversee the daily operations, completion of tasks, possess computer skills, oral and written communication skills. B. The Contractor shall employ one (1) full-time, experienced janitorial supervisor who shall be on-site, on duty during normal evening working hours to supervise and oversee the daily janitorial operations in the building. C. The credentials of qualification for the janitorial supervisor shall be submitted with the Bid. D. The Contractor shall assign janitorial service personnel on-site to perform specified operations and provide staffing levels that will ensure thorough and complete janitorial service according to the specified task routines. E. The Contractor shall ensure that all personnel employed in the janitorial services program are properly trained and receive detailed instructions for the proper, efficient, and economical janitorial operations of the building. An experienced supervisor shall be on site in charge of personnel at all times when work is being performed. F. Janitorial personnel shall become familiar with the respective duties and responsibilities of the occupants of the various offices within their assigned areas to ensure convenient and thorough service. G. The janitorial supervisor will be responsible for the conduct and performance of all employees and be in compliance with the following rules. The Contractor’s janitorial employees: ● Shall wear uniforms/smocks and approved identification badges at all times when in the building. ● Shall sign in and out of the building with the security officer and will use the North Liberty Street entrance only. Each employee shall be required to sign a register each working day upon arriving and departing, indicating after his or her signature the accurate time of arrival and departure. ● Shall not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Any employee who appears intoxicated will not be permitted in the building. ● Shall not engage in loud, boisterous conduct. ● Shall not open drawers or doors of desks, file cabinets, or other furniture at any time. ● Shall not use or tamper with computers, office machines, office equipment, and other personal property of Building occupants at any time. ● Shall not use State telephones, with the exception of the supervisor who may use the telephone at the Baltimore Street security post. ● Shall not take any parcel larger than a hand purse beyond the Liberty Street security post. Any parcel, other than a hand purse, that is taken beyond the security post will be subject to inspection, determined by the Superintendent or designee.
