On an as-requested basis, the Contractor shall provide real estate brokerage services to the Commission. Tasks assigned to the Contractor may include, but shall not be limited to, the following: 5.1 Buyer’s Agent – The Commission regularly seeks to acquire existing multifamily properties within Howard County. In addition, the Commission is seeking sites that would be appropriate for the new development of residential units, or conversion of an existing structure into residential units. The Contractor will provide the following services: 5.1.1 Review and advise the Commission on properties identified for offmarket multifamily acquisition opportunities. 5.1.2 Assist the Commission to identify potential sites for new development of residential units based on criteria provided by the Commission. 5.1.3 Initiate negotiations for the Commission’s purchase of property as needed.
