1) Calvert County Government shall be responsible for collecting and delivering designated recyclables on an as needed basis to the Contractor facility(es). Calvert County Government reserves the right to hire a hauling Contractor to deliver designated recyclables on an as needed basis to the Contractor facility(es) if it is in the best interest of Calvert County Government. 2) Calvert County Government shall haul materials directly to the Recycling Facility via tractor trailer and/or roll-off. Care and custody of the materials hauled shall transfer to the Contractor upon roll-off/unloading of the materials. The Recycling Facility shall provide a certified scale to weigh all incoming and outgoing vehicles, containers, and materials. If the Recycling Facility does not have a scale, Calvert County Government shall use Calvert County Government’s Appeal Landfill scale to weigh the vehicles and materials and generate a scale ticket.
