Conversion of two existing tennis courts into two basketball courts and the conversion and resurfacing of two existing basketball courts into six pickleball courts at Brooklet Park. Netting and Post All tennis court netting/posts and basketball posts will be removed, and holes backfilled. New pickleball posts/netting and basketball goal posts will be installed by the contractor. The new post, netting, and goals will be provided by the owner. Court Preparations Courts must be cleaned of all trash and debris before beginning the project. Any cracks that are wider than ¼” thick must be sealed with a crack sealer suitable for Tennis Court/Pickleball Courts. Approximate linear feet of cracks on existing Basketball courts are 400’ and 165’ on the existing Tennis Courts. Surfacing Two coats of Acrylic resurfacer with silica sand must be applied first. Then two coats of color to be applied with silica sand. Court colors shall be as follows: • Pickleball Courts – Royal Blue - surrounds and non-Volley Zones; Yellow - in the left and right service areas. • Basketball Courts – Royal Blue surrounds, court, and both boxes. Yellow - Centre Circle and inside 3-point line and up to the free throw line.
