The Fiscal Year 2024-2025 General Appropriations ACT, HB 5001, is appropriating $994,500 for this service in line item 194, Contracted Services. The purpose of the data is to ensure that Statewide Medicaid Managed Care is not paying for individuals who are incarcerated in jail settings during Mediciad Recertification. Data will be shared via a Batch Secure File Transer Protocol (SFTP) process where AHCA will provide a pipe-delimted flat-file via SFTP. The data will be uploaded through a batch process where Equifax will then monitor those inputs for any new bookings and or releases. Those results will then be returned to the SFTP fold for AHCA to retrieve.
