This Invitation for Bid is intended to provide for the establishment of a contract to furnish spot treatment and ground broadcast spraying of various species of noxious and invasive weeds at various wildlife areas in Northeast Kansas for the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. Contract Term: Two years from date of contract award, with the option of two (2) 24- The Department will provide all herbicides, adjuvants, and other chemicals needed for completion of work. Contractor shall provide the following equipment and all fuel, supplies, and operators necessary for the operation of the equipment listed below. Contractor shall supply a minimum of three (3) 4WD UTVs equipped with: tank (50 gallon minimum/unit), spot spraying gun, boom-less spray nozzle(s), and Global Positioning System or other navigation system to assure accurate search-and-spray operation. Multiple spray units are required to operate simultaneously to allow search and treatment of large areas within narrow time windows allowed for the effective treatment of invasive plants. Equipment and operators must have the ability to spray in rough or uneven terrain.
