3.1 Scale of Network • Over 170 locations • Over 10,000 Access Points (APs) • Over 2000 switches • Approximately 200 routers • User base of approximately 115,000 students, staff, and faculty 3.2 Implementation and Configuration • Implement network segmentation for both wireless and wired environments. • Centralized network management with real-time monitoring and analytics, with the ability to break down by site. • Scalable reporting and incident management tools. • Compatibility with existing Extreme Networks infrastructure. • Enable log shipping to external systems. • RADIUS-based access policies for wired and wireless endpoints and/or alternative methods. 3.3 Engineering Support • Provide skilled engineers to aid with planning, configuration, and installation. • Work in collaboration with JCPS IT and cybersecurity staff. 3.4 Automation and Alerting • Implement automation mechanisms for security controls and alerting. • Enable SMS and/or email alerts for high-severity events
