Orange Area (Asphalt Overlay) • This area is approximately 1, 760 square yards. o Cleaning: All surfaces to be paved will be cleaned of all loose materials with power sweepers, blowers, asphalt brooms, etc. o Pre-Pave Milling: Prior to paving, mill pavement on the main drive to a depth of 3 inches. After milling is completed, saw cut edges of pavement to establish a clean joint to tie into. Repair area/s will be shaped symmetrically where possible. o Pre-Pave Tack Coat: Apply tack coat over existing asphalt area to promote adhesion between existing asphalt surface and the new pavement surface. o Pre-Pave Pothole Fill: Fill all potholes with hot asphalt prior to Perma-Flex being installed. o Perma-Flex Asphalt: Pave 1 inch Perma-Flex Asphalt and properly compact. o Asphalt Surface: Pave 1 inch surface asphalt and properly compact.
