All Project work will be performed inside the territorial boundary, or city limits, of the City of Quincy, MA (“Market”). Installation of common or passing duct, cable, and vault will be performed in the City Rights of Way (ROW) or in the Public Utility Easement (PUE) if necessary or advisable. Drop installations will be performed inside the private properties only with property owner approval. Active component improvements, including huts, shelters, and cabinets will be installed inside municipal or public properties. High level design performed through previous city contract work has identified the following key design aspects: • 100% underground plant is anticipated • All passing infrastructure to be installed in the public Rights of Way (ROW) or established Public Utility Easements (PUE). • 52,118 serviceable locations (passings) • 206 miles of underground fiber duct and cable construction • Average passing distance of 21 feet • Average drop length of 60’ (or less) • Project budget is not anticipated to exceed $112M to construct all passings and install drops to 35% of the passings (approximately 18,241 drop installs)
