• Minimum load charges will be paid only on deliveries of two (2) cubic yards or less, but the City reserves the right, at no additional cost per cubic yard, to pick up ready-mix concrete and CDF at the plant. If the City is not permitted to pick up at the plant, then the minimum charge will not apply. • The City may refuse ready mix concrete or CDF if it does not meet the state’s testing standards. • Waiting time charges will not be paid for the first hour. • Extra chutes, if required, will be provided at the Contractor’s expense. • The procedure for ordering mix or CDF shall be to notify the Contractor at close of our workday for the next day delivery. • Alternative price for metered (on-site mix) concrete shall be supplied on the proposal page. This pricing is for comparison and the City is not obligated to purchase said product.
