Illinois State University intends to award all subdivisions of work to a general contractor, serving as the Project Coordinator/Single Prime for the project with the expectation to subcontract all other subdivisions of work. Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary to complete work for the Illinois State University Center for the Performing Arts Damper Access Remediation, including, but not limited to, locating and providing access to existing fire dampers identified in 2022 inspection report along with applying identified finishes as indicated in the drawings and specifications. Where indicated, install new fire damper access doors that will allow full testing access to the existing fire damper, demo cages around access ladders, new fall protection systems, and build platforms for access to duct at levels above access with a ladder.
