A. Equipment Requirement (1). The Contractor shall provide one (1) ADA compliant, freestanding portable restroom with the specifications below: a. The portable restroom must have a door that is lockable from the outside to prevent entry during non-business hours. Two (2) sets of keys shall be provided to the DMV Project Manager at or before delivery of the portable restroom. If the lock is a combination type lock, the combination code shall be provided to the DMV Project Manager at or before delivery of the portable restroom. b. All equipment shall include the connection of waste pipe to tank. c. The Contractor shall secure the portable restroom to the ground to prevent vandalism and/or theft. The exact location of the portable restroom at the site shall be mutually agreed upon and determined by the DMV Project Manager and the Contractor. (2). The Contractor shall provide one (1) freestanding two (2) basin handwash sink with the specifications below: a. The freestanding handwash sink shall be Occupational Safety and Health Administration (O.S.H.A.) approved, with a twenty-five (25) gallon freshwater tank, filled upon delivery and a twenty-five (25) gallon holding tank for gray water discharge. b. The freestanding handwash sink shall have a recessed foot pump, and built-in soap and paper towel dispensers. c. The freestanding handwash sink shall be secured to prevent vandalism and/or theft. B. Twice-Weekly Maintenance of the Portable Restroom (1). The Contractor shall perform the following maintenance two (2) times per week: a. The holding tank shall be emptied. b. The interior, including but not limited to the toilet seat, dispensers, fixtures, walls, and floor, shall be thoroughly cleaned with a germicidal cleaner. The entire exterior, including but not limited to the tank area, shall be thoroughly cleaned with a germicidal cleaner. c. The portable restroom and holding tank shall be maintained to ensure an odorfree and safe, healthy environment. d. The seat covers and toilet paper dispensers shall be refilled to ensure they do not run out before the next service day. C. Twice-Weekly Maintenance of the Freestanding Handwash Sink (1). The Contractor shall perform the following maintenance two (2) times per week a. The discharge holding tank shall be emptied of gray water and the freshwater tank shall be refilled (non-potable). b. The entire handwash sink including, but not limited to the basins, dispensers, and stand, shall be thoroughly cleaned with a germicidal cleaner c. Paper towels and soap dispenser(s) shall be refilled to ensure they do not run out before the next service day.
